Unstuck (formerly Budge) is a "nudge-to-act" reminder companion. This policy explains what data the app handles. In plain terms: Unstuck keeps your information on your own device by default, and nothing leaves your device unless you turn on the optional "Cloud reminders" feature.
Your reminders (their titles and times), your focus settings, and your daily "wins" count are stored locally on your device using your browser's local storage. This data is not transmitted anywhere and is removed if you uninstall the app or clear its data. Unstuck has no user accounts and does not ask you to sign in.
If — and only if — you turn on Cloud reminders in Settings, Unstuck stores the following with Google Firebase (our service provider) so that reminders can reach you when the app is closed:
This information is used solely to deliver your own reminder notifications. It is sent over an encrypted connection, is never sold, and is never shared with third parties for their own purposes. Turning Cloud reminders off deletes this data from the server, and uninstalling the app stops all collection.
Unstuck sends notifications only to remind you of items you created. You can disable notifications at any time in Settings or in your device settings.
Unstuck is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
Unstuck is a general-wellness and productivity tool that helps you build routines and follow through. It does not diagnose, treat, or manage any medical condition.
